Looking for Hope in your life? Join us this Sunday for worship. Hope does not pretend to have all of the answers, but we do point with passion to the one who gives Hope, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Hope Lutheran Church Outreach, community service, welcoming, and growth are some of the words that come to the minds of members of Hope Lutheran Church when asked to describe the congregation in a single word. Established in 1978, Hope Lutheran recently moved 1700 members to a new location near I-15 and Hwy 79 South. From its earliest years, when Hope met in the infamous Long Branch Saloon in Old Town for Sunday worship, to the nine-acre site that currently houses the church, preschool, and new elementary school, today’s ministry builds on Hope’s rich tradition of meeting the needs of the community, while keeping Christ at the center.
If you are looking for a church home, Hope welcomes you to come and join us for any of the three different styles of worship. Hope is a cross-generational congregation, with people of all ages active in leadership, and active in the ministry and mission of Hope. Hope emphasizes growth in Christ, life-long learning, and the utilization of people’s gifts. Sunday school for all ages, an accredited preschool, dynamic small group ministries, and congregation-sponsored service events help Hope to follow our vision and mission.
Hope’s Vision: Hope Lutheran Church is being called by God to open our arms to the world and bring the unchurched to Christ. God is also calling us to grow in faith and grow in numbers, as we serve all of God’s people in Jesus’ name.
