Hope Lutheran Church
... called by God to open our arms to the world and bring the unchurched to Christ. God is also calling us to grow in faith and grow in numbers as we serve all of God's people in Jesus' name.
Worship
Holy Baptism - Those wishing to be baptized, infants through adults, are invited to a baptism class on the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM.
8:00 AM- Join us at 8:00 AM for our traditional, yet spirited, worship service that features the Chapel Choir and the elements of a traditional Lutheran service.
9:30 AM- Our 9:30 AM celebration worship experience features a contemporary liturgy with contemporary songs and traditional hymns. The Celebration Singers add a festive atmosphere.
11:00 AM- The Temple Band rounds out the experience of this contemporary worship experience. Join us at 11:00 AM for our updated liturgical service featuring upbeat, contemporary music.
Children- At Hope, children are always welcome in the sanctuary for all or part of the service. We feel that worship with the family is an important tool in building up and passing on faith to our children. Also offered at each service is our Bible-based Sunday School program for Pre-K through 5th grade. At each service, following our Children’s Chat, children are invited to either return to their parents or accompany their teacher to Sunday School. Information is available at the Sunday School Sign-In Table. Children under 3 years old may be taken to the Nursery located in Room MP5. A class for children under 18 with special needs is offered at 9:30 AM.
Three Distinctive Worship Services
on Sunday Morning
Worship Services at Hope - rely on the scripture readings to guide the theme for the day or church season, and all services incorporate singing, scripture readings, Confession and Forgiveness, the Lord's Prayer, and the Apostles' Creed in keeping with the Lutheran tradition.
Holy Communion is celebrated at the 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month; the 8:00 AM service offers communion on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. There is no communion on the fifth Sunday of a month.
